We design, machine, build and start up automated production lines with Okuma robots — from the time study to the packed part coming out the other end. The structure, the fixtures and the end effectors are made on our own floor.
One integrator delivers the robot, another supplier builds the structure, a third programs the vision, and the machine builder answers only for its own envelope. When the line misses cycle time, nobody owns the whole.
Darpo signs for the complete result: cycle time, quality acceptance criteria and start-up date. The mechanical parts of the line are machined here, so a fixture adjustment takes hours instead of a new purchase order.
Fixtures, end effectors and base plates come off our own 5- and 3-axis machines; an adjustment is an internal order, not a purchase.
Every critical cell component is inspected before assembly, so repeatability is not discovered at start-up.

The tube is laser cut, the Okuma robot picks it up, a camera station checks it against the model, and the same robot places it in the box on the pallet. When the layer is complete the robot lays the cardboard separator and the pallet leaves. Nobody touches the part between the saw and the truck.
